The company is looking for a skilled Integration and Customer Support Manager to join its team of experienced technical and management personnel. This is an exciting opportunity to join a young technology company developing a new range of video analysis solutions that utilize the company’s core analytics platform to solve real-world computer vision problems.
The role’s responsibilities revolve around assisting customers integrating with VCA Technology’s VCAcore product. This will require a good understanding of high level web communication protocols (RTSP/HTTP/TCP) as well as experience integrating against API’s (REST and C libraries) requiring experience in programming. This will be a largely customer facing role in which the candidate will be required to present the VCA Technology products to customers, both in person and via conferencing tools, managing licence related inquiries as well as handling support issues (working with the development team to identify and fix bugs). Additionally the role will provide support to the sales team with customer issues and in meetings.
In addition to customer facing responsibilities the Integration and Customer Support Manager will also have a number of internal responsibilities around the ongoing development and maintenance of the VCA Technology product line. This will include VMS and third party hardware testing as well as the creation and management of benchmarking tools for both the core product and machine learning components of the product. As such, a broad understanding of deep learning and analytics is a plus as development of deep learning models and datasets will also be a requirement of this position.
You will be a technology driven individual with at least a years’ experience in a support or development role centered around a technology product. The ideal candidate will show a demonstrable personal interest in this subject area, with experience in supporting technical products at both a high and low level. VCA technology has products across both x86 (Windows & Linux) and ARM platforms, experience with working across these platforms is a benefit. You will have experience training and evaluating machine learning algorithms. You will have a degree or equivalent in the area of computer science.
You will be proficient in Python, and able to learn new development languages and skills quickly and easily. You will be competent at writing, reading and speaking English and be legally allowed to undertake employment in the UK. Must have a valid UK driving licence and are eligible to travel.

Experience using the Python programming language
Experience using the TensorFlow Machine Learning Framework
Demonstrable interest in computer vision both in and out of the workplace.
Use of version control software (SVN, GIT, etc.)
